The initiative was under the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation funded CapaCITIES Sunya project with support from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

The aim of this programme, conducted by the MBA interns, was to sensitize the students about the importance of source segregation, anti-plastics and hygiene measures to prevent dengue fever and promote health.
The activities included power point presentation on source segregation and audio visuals on ill-effects of un-segregated waste disposal.

In the interactive session, the students actively took part and clarified their doubts about solid waste management. A total of 250 students and 10 teachers participated in the event.
