ICLEI South Asia has initiated a new project through National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) supported by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) which is about conducting Solid Waste Management Exposure workshops for the officials of 1600 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) Phase III (2018 – 2019).
Under this project, ICLEI South Asia will conduct Solid Waste Management Exposure workshops for the local government officials from 120 ULBs in Hyderabad, Pimpri Chinchwad and Warangal respectively.
The main output of the project is to train 240 ULB officials in six workshops covering 120 ULBS in Telangana and Maharashtra.
