Project Summary

The KASpaces SDG Ambassador program provides an opportunity to promote SDG leadership at all levels of governance in the targeted countries. The project assists in assessing the level of awareness of elected representatives and recognize their leadership and commitments toward SDG implementation by appointing them as a ‘KASpaces SDG Ambassador’.
KASpaces SDG Elected Representative Ambassador Program includes interviews and awareness generation on SDG of selected elected representatives (mainly young). The project team will select elected representatives in each country to conduct their SDG leadership assessment based on the set of interviews.

 

Project Outputs

  • Preparation of the concept, criteria, and process of KASpaces SDG Ambassador program.
  •  Operation manual of the KASpaces SDG Ambassador program.
  •  Selection of elected representatives based on the eligibility criteria.
  •  Interview and consultation with selected elected representatives.
  •  Evaluation, assessment, and analysis of collected interview responses.
  •  Announcement of results through the website, social media, emails, and events.
  •  Orientation of the selected elected representative on the benefits, features, and terms of reference with roles and responsibilities.
  •  Promotion and dissemination of KASpaces SDG Ambassador program winners.
  •  Joint event organization by KAS Singapore and ICLEI South Asia on the KASpaces SDG.
