ICLEI South Asia, a Technical Support Group to the Goa State Biodiversity Board, is developing People’s Biodiversity Registers (PBR) in 32 villages.
The validation of the PBR of Neura village was carried out at a recent meeting chaired by Hon’ble Environment Minister of Goa Shri Nilesh Cabral, who also released a book on Tradeable Bioresources.
ICLEI South Asia has contributed a chapter on value chain analysis in the book. The organisation’s work being carried out in Goa was highly appreciated.
