Amazon and ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, South Asia have released the School Gardening Manual for the project “Development of Urban Food Gardens in 75 Municipal Schools in 4 Mega-Cities in India.”
The project aims to set up 75 urban food gardens in municipal schools across Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad to encourage and facilitate learning, and improve awareness about the importance of growing one’s own food, improve nutrition for children, and enhance biodiversity in municipal schools.
